The Gift of ProphecyThis article studies one of the gifts of the Holy Spirit which Paul calls ?Prophecy? (1Cor. 12:10). He emphasizes the importance of this gift and encourages the believers of Corinth to sincerely pray to receive it (1Cor. 14: 1-5, 39). Paul considers those who prophesy higher than those who speak in tongs and wishes that everybody would prophesy in the church (14:5).
